FAQ
Common questions
How long does a room analysis take?
Most reports are ready in under a minute after you upload a photo. The AI reviews layout, placement, and style, then plots fixes directly onto your photo.
How much does RoomFix cost?
Every analysis starts free with the summary and the three highest-impact fixes. RoomFix Complete ($9) unlocks the full critique — every fix, the annotated photo, measurements, and product picks. See the Fix ($19) adds three AI-rendered design directions of your room, and the Whole Room Plan ($39) adds a second angle, an alternate direction, and one free revision. All are one-time purchases per report, and upgrading only charges the difference.
Do I need professional photos of my room?
No. A single photo taken on a phone from a normal standing position is enough — no staging, tripod, or special lighting required.
What is the AI-rendered visualization?
With the See the Fix plan ($19), RoomFix generates a photo-realistic edit of your actual uploaded room with every recommended fix applied, so you can see the result before buying anything. The Whole Room Plan ($39) adds a second viewing angle, an alternate design direction, and one free revision.
Which rooms can RoomFix analyze?
Living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, and home offices each get guidance tailored to how that room is used, from seating flow to desk ergonomics.
Do the product recommendations match my room?
Yes. Recommendations are chosen to address the specific fixes identified in your photo, with shoppable links for each product.
Can I personalize the critique to my taste?
Yes. You can add your preferred aesthetic, palette, budget, or constraints like kids or pets, and every recommendation is tailored accordingly.
Is RoomFix an AI room generator?
No. RoomFix is an AI design critique of your actual room — it tells you exactly what to move, fix, or buy, with each issue circled on your own photo. The optional visualization is a faithful edit of your photo with the fixes applied, not an imaginary AI-generated room.
